Sitting Room

Whether you're escaping the midday heat, enjoying a quiet evening, or settling down with a book, the sitting room offers a comfortable place to relax. Traditional exposed timber beams, natural stonework and a corner fireplace reflect the character of this nineteenth-century Cretan village house, while air conditioning keeps the room cool during the summer months. A flat-screen TV is provided for evenings in, and the striking artwork above the sofa is by a local Cretan artist, celebrating the island's rich artistic heritage.

Please note that, for safety reasons, the fireplace is not available for guest use.
